Evidence Publication
Delium’s flexible approach restores the traditional ability of legal team members to control the flow of their evidence presentation to other trial participants. Published evidence can be presented open to a specific page, zoomed in to a region, or with highlighted portions. However, Delium delivers a significant advantage to participants once evidence is published. Having received the published evidence, participants can work with the entire document independently of other participants, just as they would if handed a complete paper copy.
Delium supports publishing evidence:
- publicly to the screens of all trial participants
- privately to the screens of a sub-section of the trial participants, like the Judge and opposing Counsel during a voir-dere argument, or
- privately to the screen of a member of your legal team to check the validity of a document.

Regardless of your location, with a Delium logon and internet connection, you can participate in virtual or hybrid hearings conducted anywhere in the world. As a result, you can be confident that you are viewing the same evidence simultaneously as the witness and other participants.
Delium provides easy access to the work product applied to evidence during hearing preparation activities without the need to run multiple software platforms. Delium simultaneously publishes evidence in both Public and Private Modes. Witnesses view the Public version of the evidence. Other authorised Users can elect to view a Private version of the evidence that displays any annotations or analysis already made by the User during trial preparation activities. When in Private Mode, authorised Users can continue to annotate and comment on the evidence, confident their work remains private to them and their team.

Handing Not Just Showing
First generation evidence presentation technologies easily and speedily show the relevant part of a document but do not support viewing the whole document in the context in which the particular passage appears..
Delium puts the whole document in ‘your hands’ so you can page forward and back, zoom, rotate, compare, annotate and analyse the whole document not just a particular passage.

read and get the “feel” of the whole document, part of its true significance
may be lost by viewing only that part of the document which Counsel asks one
to read.

Private Evidence
Every participant in a hearing comes with a unique perspective and understanding of the evidence to be presented. However, first and second-generation evidence presentation technology, such as slave screen or share screen tools, delivers a genericized experience that does not support traditional workflows or the participants’ requirement for ongoing analysis.
The flexible approach of Delium restores the traditional ability of legal team members and the judiciary by simultaneously displaying the evidence and publicly available meta-data alongside any private analysis or notes a participant has prepared in the lead up to hearings. This removes the requirement for them to independently search for and retrieve private analysis as a witness is being examined. Further private analysis and notes can also be added during hearings. This analysis can be private to the user or shared between members of a legal team.
