In the months before the trial commenced, a Delium affiliate provided additional training to the Court staff on new Delium features, including the Judge. The affiliate aslo worked with the Courts Administration to ensure the Courtroom was configured suitably.

Both prosecution and defence teams had access to a private Delium case to manage their analysis and pre-trial preparation. They also received a single training session each, a couple of months out from trial.

During trial, each party made extensive use of Delium’s Publish List functionality to prepare documents to be called during proceedings. Interestingly they adopted different strategies for how they bundled these documents in Delium.

One party created bundles focused on the issues that were to be examined in the case and then created sub-folders for each relevant witness.

Each party’s preferred methodology was easily supported by the flexibility offered in Delium Publish Lists.

The Court appointed operator was given access to each parties Publish Lists and could display the evidence as it was referred to through the click of a single button.

Ultimately the trial ran for almost six months without any external support or further training required.
